Bike Path to the Beach

The Ojai Valley Trail is completely separated from the road, all the way from Ojai to the beach! Ride to the beach, grab some lunch on the pier, and ride back.

33.1 miles / 965 ft

The Ojai Bike Path is fully separated from car traffic, so it's a great ride for kids, inexperienced riders, and anyone who doesn't want to deal with cars. If you aren't used to riding this kind of distance, we recommend taking e-bikes-- you'll have a blast!

The bike path runs through downtown Ojai, parallel to the main road. You can jump onto the path at any time through town by heading south from Ojai Ave.

Halfway to the beach is Foster Park, which is a great place to stop and take a break-- it's got drinking fountains and restrooms and plenty of shade.

Once the bike path lets you out, it's just a few turns to get to the boardwalk along the beach. We like to ride to the pier and stop for tacos before heading back.
