East End Loop

This beautiful ride shows off the best parts of Ojai! It takes you through orange groves and mountain views by way of some quiet neighborhood streets and country roads. There's a long version for those on electric bikes or those looking for a solid workout, and a short version for those who just want to cruise.

7.5 miles / 250 ft     //     10.1 miles / 655 ft

You'll start out heading east on Grand Ave., parallel to the main street through town, but a quieter neighborhood street.

Once you pass Gridley Rd., you'll be outside of downtown and approaching the old agricultural area of Ojai. You'll cross a bridge over San Antonio Creek, and then turn left on Fordyce Rd.

Fordyce Rd. is a great country road that takes you past orange groves and old ranch houses, with a beautiful view of the mountains in the background. When Fordyce T's with Carne Rd, turn left.

Carne Rd. will turn and become Thacher Rd, which goes up a big hill. If you're not feeling the hill, you can bail out and turn right on McNell Rd to do the short version of this route. Turn right on Grand to head back into town.
