Bike Path to Foster Park

Don't have time to take the bike path all the way to the beach? Stop at Foster Park, which has picnic benches, shade, grass, bathrooms, and water fountains. For a perfect day, bring a picnic to eat before you ride back.

17.3 miles / 657 ft

The Ojai Bike Path is fully separated from car traffic, so it's a great ride for kids, inexperienced riders, and anyone who doesn't want to deal with cars.

The bike path runs through downtown Ojai, parallel to the main road. You can jump onto the path at any time through town by heading south from Ojai Ave.

Halfway to the beach is Foster Park, which is a great place to take a break and have a picnic before turning around and riding back into Ojai. Foster Park is well-equipped with restrooms, drinking fountains, picnic tables, and plenty of shade.

The "bike path entrance" to Foster Park takes you directly to the restrooms and drinking fountains.

Past the "bike path entrance" to Foster Park is the car entrance-- you can get into the park by making a U-turn from the bike path to the car entrance.
