DT Swiss' legendary 240 hubs, well-known for their longevity and versatility, got a makeover this year with the new Ratchet EXP freehub system.

Among the upgrades the new Ratchet EXP system has made:

  • Reduced number of internal components decreases weight and increases durability.
  • Fixed connection between inner ratchet and hub shell ensures inner ratchet is always aligned at the correct angle, resulting in faster full engagement and increased reliability.
  • Increased bearing distance increases stiffness and therefore longevity.

The rear hub is offered with a Shimano Micro Spline or SRAM XD driver.
